One of my longtime producer/directors Greg Crompton (of Artaban Productions) and I are digging into the question of who cut the cable of the Sea to Sky Gondola near Squamish, and we’re looking for your tips.
As you may know, in 2019 and 2020, the massive rope wire that holds up the gondolas of this attraction adjacent the Sea to Sky Highway was severed, leaving a huge mystery.
For the public, anyway.
There are people who know what happened, and why, and we’re looking to tap them in order to tell the story as fully as we can.
The RCMP have an ongoing investigation, as does the business itself, and the important distinction between them and us is that we’re not looking to put anyone in jail. We simply want to understand and tell the story as fully as we can, then make a film about it.
